Brief:
"This brief is all about speculating what the next 20-30 years has in store in terms of emerging media technology, projecting into the future to imagine the potential social, cultural and environmental impact of these developments. Throughout this project, you will work collaboratively in transnational teams to develop a speculative design project that responds to the following provocation:​What will the media culture of the year 2050 look like​".

Execution of the project:

In trans international groups consisting of myself and another student from my own university as well as three students from abroad, 2 of which from Germany and one of those from Finland.
We set out in creating a potential future scenario in the form of an experienceable concept visualization, which makes the audience understand and feel the circumstances of the possible future that we have imagined.

My Role:
​
Due to the nature of this project and working in groups we knew each student had their own strengths, in my group I was the main participant that had experience and knowledge with practical and creative software. I created the website on Wix (just like this portfolio) as well as the logos and visual elements. For the storyboards, I put together images (that another member created) into video format instead of just presenting still images as this was a nicer visualization of a potential advertisement campaign. I also sourced the potential themes and colours by making Padlet and colour hunt pages for the group. I wrote some of the text and researched around the topic for the website however most of that was conducted by the other members of the group because I took on the more practical design side of this project.

Examples of things i created for the website and its ideation:
The icon images underneath the name on the image on the right-hand side are different to the ones in the version of the design below this text. unlike on the website because these are meant to represent social media icons of the future and so the design below is to merely show examples of social media today and act as placeholders for these icons seen on the image on the right-hand side which ended up being the final product seen on the website.
